Early Pick Up Notes
Students please remember that you must bring in a note from a parent when getting picked up for appointments, etc. The notes should be turned in to the guidance office the morning of the appointment.
 
Parking Tags
Any student currently parking in the student parking lot must purchase and display a valid parking tag by this Friday, September 11, 2026.

US Army Recruiter Lunch Table
A recruiter from the US Army will be visiting Lehighton High School this Friday, September 11, during lunch periods. If you are interested in learning more about service opportunities or career paths, please stop by the table located just outside of the cafeteria to speak with the recruiter and pick up informational materials.
 
📚✨Yearbooks On Sale✨📚

 The 2026–27 Lehighton Area High School Yearbook is officially on sale! You can purchase one at a discounted price until September  18th.  Please visit jostens.com to order yours today.  Yearbooks will still be available for purchase after September 18th, however, they will be  sold at the regular price.

 
💛✨ Avedium Meeting ✨💛
Our first Avedium meeting will be held on Monday, September 14 in the cafeteria during Enrichment! ☕️✨ Please remember that you MUST get a pass from Mrs. Costenbader or Ms. Andrew prior to the meeting. 💛
 
🏀Boys Basketball Open Gym🏀
Boys Baskeball Open Gym will be held Wednesdays from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm at the Elementary Center gym. Additional days to be be added. If anyone is interested in playing, please attend to get the full schedule.
 
🏀Girls Basketball Open Gym🏀
Anyone interested in playing girls basketball, there will be open gyms starting Sunday from 12:00 pm to 1:30 pm at the Elementary Center gym. This will run every Sunday until late October.
 
⚾Lehighton Baseball Information⚾
Any student who is interested in playing Baseball in the Spring there will be Fall workouts starting September 11th from 3:45-5:45 at the Varsity Field.  Off Season lifting workouts are held every Tuesday, Thursday and Friday at 2:30pm in the High School.  If you are interested in playing Baseball students should Join Team Reach - Lehighton Baseball - Group Code - GOTRIBE
 
Junior Class Meeting - September 23rd
📢ATTENTION JUNIORS: Your first Junior Class Meeting will be held in the auditorium during enrichment on Wednesday, September 23! We will be discussing important Junior Class information and signing up for our Gertrude Hawk candy bar fundraiser! If you cannot attend, please contact Mrs. Harris immediately.
 
Carbon County College and Technical Education Night
Jim Thorpe High School will be hosting the Carbon County College and Technical Education Night on Wednesday, September 30th from 6:30 PM to 8:00 PM in the Jim Thorpe High School Gym. Students can meet Admissions representatives from over 30 College/Universities and Trade schools as well as meet with Military Recruiters from several branches. You can register to attend using the QR code on the flyers that are posted around the high school.
