The Science Department at Lehighton Area High School is committed to fostering a deep level of critical thinking through academic rigor, laboratory work, and applying the reality of science to daily life.  Our course offerings are quite diverse for a smaller rural high school.  Students have the opportunity to take courses ranging from Anatomy & Physiology to Physics to Environmental Science.  Each course is designed to expand your knowledge of the natural world.  Our club and extracurricular offerings include Science Olympiad, Ag Club (soon to be FFA), and the Enviro-thon.  We believe each student should join clubs to enhance their high school experience.  Should you need us at any point, feel free to reach out to us directly through email.
